Another week has come and gone leaving us with only a short amount of our December before the  year ends. December is always a nostalgic time of the year for me. I think of all of the years past filled with memories of good times. It is such an inspiring month for me. I feel so motivated to experience new things, create new memories, and I notice that I have a drive that's different than at other times of the year.

Creativity + individuality motivate me. They create a drive in certain people to think differently and strive for something different in life. It's that yearning for experiences that might be out of the norm for most people. "Life" isn't about following this plan that people before have set out for us saying that is the way to live or how you are supposed to exist. Having a creative mindset means you want to explore other options; create a life for yourself that you want to live + thrive in.

Being creative can mean so many different things. For me, I've never been someone to follow the crowd. Of course, everyone goes through a phase where you just want to be accepted, but I have always been very independent and not accepting of this idea that everyone has to be on the same path. I don't want to look back at my life and wish I had taken a certain opportunity or feel regret about not doing something. I want to experience as much as I can and surround myself with like minded people that I can grow with. "Follow your dreams" might be an overused term, but for a reason.

I just want to say thank you to anyone who reads this blog. It means so much to me to be able to have people that want to read what I write. I love being able to share my style + thoughts on this little site. I really can't believe this year is almost over, but so very excited to see where the next year takes me. Thank you for reading + Merry Christmas!
