Embroidered + Finding Happiness in Fashion

Dress: Plante Clothing (From their new collection coming soon) // Shoes: Loeffler Randall (Similar under $30) // Bag: Loeffler Randall // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I thought I would pop in and share a little outfit post today. This dress is another one from Plante Clothing. I absolutely love the golden + warm tones and pops of black + embroidery. It flows beautifully and is perfect for springtime in my opinion. I decided to wear some scrappy black sandals and a black cross body, both by Loeffler Randall, for a little edge and my favorite new glasses by Ray-Ban.

On another note, I just wanted to share thought I've been having lately. My job (and life) revolves around the whole social media world. I love fashion and I know it brings a lot of happiness for me with all of the creative people I get to be around and work with on a daily basis. That being said, there's a superficiality to "social media" that doesn't exactly interest me at this point even though fashion + social media kind of go hand in hand.

At the beginning of the year, I set intentions instead of making resolutions and one of those intentions was to be more authentic and genuine with what I put out. I think I do a good job of balancing it all but it's still something I'm working on. Although there is a stigma with bloggers in the fashion world, if it's done right it can be a really good thing. I love how with a blog, you can share your own personal style, thoughts, and creativities. I just want to make sure I'm posting quality over quantity and content that I'm proud of + is authentic to me. Sorry that was a bit of a ramble...just curious if any other bloggers ever struggle with any of this?

While on the subject of blogging, Danielle from We Wore What just posted an awesome video about the business. Highly recommend watching if you're a new blogger or even if you're just interested in it.
